Terra Firma

She's down. Thank heaven. I was a nervous wreck.

So glad to be home!

When I got up this morning she had moved back to her original tree via a dead branch that formed a bridge 30 feet up. From there she eventually moved to a pine tree and then to a smaller oak tree, getting a little lower all the time. Finally she walked down a sloping branch, slipped off the end and hung by her front feet momentarily, and slithered through my hands and onto the ground. Nothing like doing things the easy way.

Stupid cat.

  • Wait. How long was she up there!?

  • Well, I bet I know why she went up there. She was doing Callie-sthentics.

Glad to hear she is again on terra-firma!

  • Glad to hear that she is down. Cats are so stupidly stubborn!

  • Oh, Finally! I'm so glad to hear she finally made it down. Wonder if she'll do THAT again in the near future. Looks like she is comfy on her chair.

  • So I finally looked over to see what on earth Ketchup's offspring was up to and HOLY CRAP!

Glad she's down. But, geez. Stupid cat. She did have a tendency to climb the inside walls of the barn as a very young kitten and then sort of...let go, and land on her siblings.

    Stupid cat.

  • Boy, does she look happy to be on that chair. ;-)

    Whew! Glad that's over.
