Saturday Sky

Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

  • You post such awesome photos! New England has the colorful leaves and the sunshine to make them glow. And you had Robert Frost. All we got is the great, green, eternal mountains.

  • BEAUTIFUL! You found some really great trees in a year of few great trees.

  • your pic of the maple leaves (yellow) is splendid. a reminder that fall ushers change, that winter snows will all too soon decorate the barren trees, that everything is, after all, temporary, and that (therefore, i assume) we had best get along with enjoying all those good things. i am very glad i (we) live in a part of the world where green and gold come and go.
